Saw 2 Trailer analysis

The fast paced editing of the trailer shows parts of the storyline but not giving much away so it entices the audience to go and see the film in the cinema.
The trailer starts off by relaying what happened in Saw. Where the use of montage editing quickens up the trailer giving the sense of intensity throughout the film while the audience watches it.
Also, suring the trailer, the characters are shown, but not introduced so it doesn't give too much away and spoil the film. The well renowned quote for the Saw films "I want to play a game" is also expressed giving further excitement for horror fans.
The Production companies logos are also portrayed briefly during the trailer, so it advertises their production company, and also showing that they are the ones who produced the film being advertised.
At the end of the trailer, the film title is also shown a bit longer than most of the sub titles, so that the viewers will remember the name of the film, so that they will want to see that film, the next time they go to the cinema or BlockBuster for example.
